We are looking for a new colleague who can be a part of our core team to operate our new full-automated solution in the harbors, FreeFlow. Scandlines has a Green agenda and will exist after the tunnel is build.
In the position as Application Manager (AM), you will have the opportunity to develop and improve the current solution to automate our check in and onboarding of cars, busses and freight in the harbors. The solution is a mix of integrations between our core solutions (vessel booking, ERP, capacity system, camera recognition, sales apps, etc.) and HW (LIDAR cameras, Stop&Go signs, barriers, kiosks, etc.).
You will be part of a core AM team that takes care of the solution, related integrations and HW. The team is responsible for collecting input and ideas from the business on how to optimize the check in flows, and prioritize among them in close collaboration with main stakeholders. Moreover, the team handles errors reported in our ticket system, ServiceNow.
This position reports directly to the Head of Applications and IT PMO.

Your key tasks as Application Manager are to:
- Lead the operations of our harbor check in solution
- Report errors to our supplies systems and follow-up on fixes
- Communicate to stakeholders about planned fixes, content, impact and road maps
- Educate colleagues in our harbors about the use of the FreeFlow solution
- Introducing new check-in flows, supporting tools/apps and services
- Optimize our change management flows and make sure it follows ITIL principles
- Analyze market trends and conduct benchmarking to ensure the competitiveness of our solution
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as Application Manager, Product Manager or similar
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in implementing new software solutions
- Experience with automation and integration
- Always thinking about improvements and sharing knowledge
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements to design specifications
- A strong communicator and used to handle many stakeholders
- Excellent in English, both in written and verbally
Additionally, you have:
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools.
- Prince2 certified
- Knows about agile collaboration tools as AZURE DevOps
- Knows about ITIL principles
